When she was 19, she published her first debut single Here. It went down a storm and was praised by the public and from critics. The song reached the top spot in both Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone ranked the track among the 2015's Top Songs. This was the year she released Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful is one of five original tracks to make it onto the Billboard charts. This particular track was special as it was inspired by her interview with the Rap-Up show, many fans related to her journey in self-doubt as well as learning how to love herself. Cara's music is famous as a source of inspiration for kindness in self-love, and mental wellbeing. All of Cara's music stems directly from her battle with insomnia and mental illness. According to a Reuters Interview, her album is described as both chaotic and perfected. She says she grew through therapy, and encourages anyone else to seek out help whenever needed. Alessia Cara is a Canadian artist who was born July 11 1996 to parents of Italian ethnicity. Her parents gave her an instrument at only 10. This ignited her love for music. As a teenager she began covering music she enjoyed on YouTube for the purpose of showing viewers that she had the talent to be a singer and could not resist the opportunity to establish an opportunity as a musician. One of the songs Sweater Weather eventually got her noticed by a label known as EP Entertainment which allowed her to write and create her songs.
